Katherine: "Because I wanted to do a fight."
Katherine: "Putting my skills to the test."
Katherine: "The coaches, the other competitors, and the general enthusiasm and camaraderie of the group."
Katherine: "Do it! It’s one experience you will not forget and it will push you to become a stronger person."
Katherine: "I am a stay at home mom of a 7-year-old boy and work part-time from home. Waking up super early is not my thing and with my flexible schedule doesn’t need to be. Indeed, this was the most difficult part of the program for me!
I knew I had what it takes when it comes to commitment as well as mental and physical fortitude, but pulling my head off that pillow at 5 in the morning was something else entirely! The martial arts aspect was not all that new for me as I have done it for a long time along with my husband, and more recently with my little boy.
What I wanted out of the program was to push my ability to the next level, get a bit more competitive, and put my skills to the test in a real fight. It would also be nice to make my boys proud, as they are my two biggest fans!"
