Warrior: Rob "The Revelation" Swiderski

Age: 45

Occupation: Hospitality Industry, Founder CRAFT Beer Market

Why did you join Wimp 2 Warrior?

To challenge myself and to help raise awareness for Mitochondrial disease in support of Mito Canada and, in particular, Evan Penny and the rest of the Penny family.

What are you looking forward to on Fight Night?

Showcasing the skills I have learned over the duration of this challenge and scratching one item off my bucket list by stepping into the ring.

What's your favourite part of the program?

The coaching has been amazing! Also, learning that your mind is the first thing to get tired. If you can push your mind to mentally push through being tired, your body will follow.

What would you say to other participants thinking of joining the program?

If you are looking to change from ordinary to extraordinary this is for you.

Tell us a little about yourself.

I'm a regular guy; I'm married, have three energetic boys and love beer. The catch, unlike many beer-loving dads, I actually get to drink beer for a living.

I'm one of the original founding members of CRAFT beer market in Calgary, Alberta. I share a vision with my business partners to bring locally sourced hand-crafted food and fresh local beer to people.

I currently hold the titles of Certified Cicerone and Recognized beer judge, but enjoy continuously fueling my thirst for knowledge in the forever changing landscape of the craft brewing industry."

Champion’s Creed is a special place with top level instruction. I have been to a lot of other gyms, and I am always amazed at how welcoming the staff is and how amazing the instructors are at CCMA. Props to Brian and Sheila for creating a positive culture that encourages beginners and experienced martial artists alike! -Russell Asplund
