A first class you do together.

Tiny Champs is where your child learns to stand in a line, listen to a coach, take a turn, and try something they're not good at yet. You're right there while they do it, which at three and four is the whole reason it works.

There's never any punching or kicking for any of our Champs. If they want to try Muay Thai as a teenager, that's a choice you get to make later.

What thirty minutes looks like

We keep it moving, because they do.

  • Warm-up. Crawling, rolling, hopping. You're doing it too
  • One skill. Shown slowly, then tried. Just one, every week
  • Partner turn. Usually you. Sometimes another kid, with both parents right there
  • The finish. Line up, bow, high five, done

They will not do all of it perfectly. Neither will you. That's the point.

What parents tell us

Not "she learned an armbar". What they actually notice:

  • She listens the first time more often
  • He waits his turn without a reminder
  • She's steadier on her feet
  • He's proud of something he earned

When and where

Wednesdays, 4:15 to 4:45 PM.
Both locations, same time.

Questions parents ask

Do I stay and watch?

You do better than that. Tiny Champs is parent-assisted, so you're on the mat for the whole thirty minutes. One adult per child, every class, and plenty of families send both parents. It turns out the parents have as much fun as the kids do.

What do we wear?

For the free trial class, anything you can both move in, and bare feet. We'll lend your child a Gi when you arrive. When you sign up they get one of their own to keep, worth $150.

Is my three-year-old too young?

Some are ready at three and some aren't, and thirty minutes tells you which. That's what the free class is for. If they're not ready, come back in six months. We'll say so honestly.

Can we join part way through the semester?

Yes. Your fees are prorated, so you only pay for the classes that are left. Come for the free class first, then we'll sort out what's owed from the Wednesday you start.

Does Tiny Champs count for the family discount?

Yes. Once your family is paying for three memberships at $95, everyone else in your immediate family trains free, and that includes your Tiny Champ's whole semester. Tiny Champs can't be one of the three on its own, because the three have to be $95 memberships, so adults, teens and kids aged 7 and up. Call us and we'll add it up with you.
